We’ve been making these animated profile pics for ourselves and clients for a while now… I find that they stand above the rest of the herd and all of the clients we’ve made them for LOVE em! I use After Effects for this…. go at it like you’re making a broadcast piece, but make it 170w MAX as that happens to be the exact W allowed before myspace will squeeze your image down. Limit to 7 seconds as well, happy animating!

Well we’ve certainly had a great deal of small local businesses come to us recently for site work which is odd to me, as we usually only do one local job every 4-6 mos. You know what it is? We’re in the FUTURE ahah and local business is finally realizing that having a site done by the 14 yr old cousin is HURTING business!

what a great free service - added this to each of our signatures to pull the RSS feed right from bakermedia into our email sig, and will add to forum sigs, myspace page, bakerradio forum header, home - the benefit of this is that it’s a GIF and not a SWF - SWF (Flash) CANNOT be used in email or myspace (myspace blocks outbound links from Flash) so this GIF caps the RSS feed and displays wherever you can add the most basic HTML, great success!

Quick rebrand of BakerRadio:
BakerMedia is under the knife - please visit our portfolio while we work on this! — I am just toying with WORDPRESS and wordpress themes - trying to familiarize myself with this and then we’ll customize our look - a cool note is that WP can use your existing VBULLETIN db to cross users over and use vb’s commenting engine (only is in same DB/same domain) - so keep an eye on bakerradio for that integration
The goal here is to create a “twitter-ish” type feed for the work we do, big or small - so we can start to show how far our reach really goes
